Jimmy Fallon on Late Night

The Core Belief

This evening, Jimmy Fallon takes over Late Night on NBC.

Fallon and I live in the same downtown neighborhood and have become friendly over the years seeing each other in the same shops, delis and restaurants.

When I saw Jimmy on Friday and he was nervous but buoyed by the challenge of taking the chair that Letterman and O’Brien made famous and taking it to another level.  I, for one, can’t wait to see what he has planned.

After all, any show with Jimmy Fallon and the Roots as the house band is bound to be excellent.
