Opening Day 2012

The Core Belief

Anti-Climactic as it is (thanks for opening in Japan in 2012 MLB), today, April 5, 2012 is opening day for major league baseball.  So with as Ernie Harwell would say:

For, lo, the winter is past,

The rain is over and gone;

The flowers appear on the earth;

The time of the singing of birds is come,

And the voice of the turtle is heard in our land.

My prediction for the Motor City Kitties season: 97-65, first place in the AL Central.  AL and World Series Champions.  Miguel Cabrera wins the AL MVP.
